摘 要
元亨寺版《汉译南传大藏经》是目前唯一较为完整的「巴藏」汉译本,但 这个本子译文问题很多.鉴於这个译本通颇广,考者众,因此本文尝试进 比较多面,深入的检讨及评. 本文以其《相应部》选经共 98 经为样本,进考察分析.文中主要进三 方面工作.一是,举其中的问题译文,同时对巴原文(含校勘)及笔者的重 译,以初步呈现问题.二是,对於这些译文所涉及的(语言层面为主的)各种问题, 从诗偈,散文,词语(词组)几个层面进细部评析.三是,探讨相关问题的成因, 并提出对应的改善之道. 通过以上讨,希望一方面清楚呈现问题,以学者,大众使用此藏时加 警觉,避免误解及错误引用;另方面也希望具体地呈现巴语的特点,及翻译时 须加注意的事项.希望藉由这些讨,引起多人士及研究者的关,乃至有 志於重译此部三藏. 关键词: 《汉译南传大藏经》《相应部》 , ,巴藏,巴语,佛经翻译
Abstract
Hàn-yì Nán-Chuán Dà-Zàng-Jīng (Chinese Translation of the Pali Tipitaka) published by Yuán Hēng Temple is presently the only relatively complete version of Chinese translated Pali Tipitaka. Nevertheless, there are many problems in this translation. By viewing of the facts that this translation is widely spread and has lots of readers, this study is therefore trying to do examination and commentary more

deeply and extensively. This study selects 98 suttas as examples form the Samyutta Nikaya of this translation for examining and analysis. Three main tasks are worked upon and which are 1) Enumerate the problem translations and list correspondingly the Pali Originals (including correction) and the re-translations by the author to initially present the problem; 2) Proceed the detail analysis on the various problems (on the language level) involved in verses, proses and words (or phrases) in these translations; and 3) To explore the resulting reasons for these problems and also to suggest the corresponding solutions for the improvement. Through the above discussion, hopefully the problem will clearly be presented, and will alert scholars and the readers to pay more attention when using this translation, and to avoid misunderstanding and erroneous references; on the other hand hopefully to present specifically the characteristics of Pali Language, and also things to be noted when translating Pali into Chinese. More hopefully, through this discussion, the concerns of people and researchers will be brought out, so that someone of them even make minds to re-translate this Tipitaka.
