A Summertime Full of Joys and Memories

As the weather got hotter and hotter, it was almost the end of the ninth grade. Everything was going to take a break, for exciting summertime was coming. It was time to have some fun!

"How can I have fun Stay in a luxurious hotel Go abroad Or just stay home and play online games " I wondered. Well, these suggestions were very awesome, but I preferred to do something different this year--- to visit my beloved grandparents, who lived in Ping Tong, southern Taiwan, for several days. I was eager to have a relaxing countryside life instead of a busy city life since I didn't have a long vacation.

On the first day, we arrived at my grandparents' home at about half past six. We had a quick local meal, which was prepared by my dear grandma. It was indeed delicious, reminding me of my happy childhood. During those five days, my brother and I rode our bikes all around the small town, seeing a great deal of ancient structures. Also, we helped Grandma with some housework and even some crops. Fresh air and birds' singing made me free and comfortable. I think it the most joyful time I've ever had.
Time did fly. It was about time we had to leave for Taipei. We brought lots of local specialities and the most valuable thing with us - the wonderful memories. Now, class has begun, and I can still recall the happy times I've had this summer. Do you have a great time this summer If you don't, plan now!
